There was a curator called Ellie, she loved her job looking after other people's paintings and drawings but she had to commute to work, and she found that she had less and less time to make Art works of her own. She also had a wicked house which ate up all of her money and all of her energy.
One day she decided to make a wonder cabinet, it would be filled with all of the things that she loved. Pretty photographs, inspiring prints, gorgeous interiors and other arty crafty magic.
Whenever she got too tired or lost her way she would be able to open the wonder cabinet and look at all of her collections and they would inspire her to carry on, and perhaps other people too.
I'm a Curator who's obsessed with collecting, especially old globes and maps, convex mirrors and Chinese Cartes de Visite.
The Wonder Cabinet is my attempt to make a virtual scrapbook of all the things I love, and try to get some of my creative projects off the ground, so that one day I can do more of them and less of the commuting.
